Boise, ID (April 25, 2024) – A boy has died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle, according to local authorities.
On Wednesday evening, authorities said that the child was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle near East Gowen Road and East Grand Forest Drive in southeast Boise. According to a news release from the Ada County Coroner's Office, the child was pronounced dead at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center after he sustained blunt force head injuries. It's unclear if the driver involved stayed at the scene, and officials asked witnesses to get in touch. An investigation of the accident is being conducted by the Ada County Sheriff's Office, but no additional details have been released.
