Gisel was born and raised in Colombia. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Finances and International Business in Colombia, she decided to come to the United States to learn English.
After coming to the States in 2010 as an au pair, she lived in Atlanta, Georgia, during her first year and extended the au pair program a second year in California, where she got a certificate of Achievement in Accounting at Foothill College. After her au pair program was over, she began working at a personal injury law firm, where she started as a filing clerk and was offered a legal assistant position a few months later. She worked at that firm for 9 years, where she gained valuable litigation experience and fell in love with the legal field.
Gisel has been living in Idaho since August 2020, saying the move was the best decision ever. She loves traveling, spending time with her family, baking with her daughter, reading, hanging out with friends, and playing card games.
