Twin Falls, ID (August 31, 2024) – Troopers with the Idaho State Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene of a crash on Thursday afternoon, August 29, and say the incident caused injuries and long-term road closures.

The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. Highway 30 and 2600 East intersection was shut down on the western side of Twin Falls. Per local news footage, the collision involved at least two drivers and resulted in substantial damage to both vehicles. The closure lasted for several hours, according to law enforcement, though the events leading up to the crash remain unknown. It's also unclear how many people were transported to the hospital, but authorities confirmed that at least one victim was hurt.
