Twin Falls, ID (June 25, 2024) –  Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 93 at milepost 38 on Tuesday, south of Twin Falls.

Troopers responded to the crash just before 12:45 p.m. A 37-year-old female from Twin Falls driving southbound in a 2004 Cadillac Deville was apparently involved in a crash with a 2017 Freightliner semi-truck, which was driven by a 47-year-old man and pulling a flatbed trailer driving northbound. The driver of the Cadillac sustained critical injuries and succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash. The northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 93 were blocked for approximately three hours. According to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), the details and events leading up to the collision remain unknown, but the crash is still under investigation by ISP, and any witnesses were asked to get in touch.
