Twin Falls, ID (June 17, 2024) – A fatal accident Sunday afternoon claimed one life and blocked a highway south of Twin Falls for hours, per local authorities.

The Idaho State Police (ISP) reports that the crash occurred at about 2:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 93 at milepost 8 near Rogerson in Twin Falls County. According to an online police report, the incident involved a Toyota Prius and a Chevy Silverado truck. ISP is investigating the incident; throughout the roughly two hours that personnel were clearing the site, traffic was stopped on the highway. No further details have been released, and the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. An investigation is active and ongoing.
