Twin Falls, ID (April 7, 2024) – Following a collision on State Highway 50 in Twin Falls County on Sunday, April 7 around 3:20 a.m., one child has died and two others are hospitalized.
The Idaho State Police (ISP) reports that the collision occurred near milepost 1.7. According to ISP, a 39-year-old Roseville, California woman was traveling in a Honda CRV with two passengers, a 35-year-old Butte, Montana man, and a toddler, when she was involved in a crash with a 47-year-old man operating a Freightliner semi-truck.ISP is investigating the incident; throughout the roughly six hours that personnel were clearing the site, traffic was stopped on the highway. No further details have been released, and the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. An investigation is active and ongoing.
