Ririe, ID (May 15, 2024) –  An 18-year-old Roberts woman was injured in a crash with a dump truck on U.S. Highway 26 east of Ririe. Idaho State Police reported the crash happened at about 1:15 p.m. at milepost 364 on U.S. 26 and Antelope Flat Road.

The woman was driving west in a 2015 Ford Edge when she was involved in a crash with a 2010 Peterbilt dump truck, driven by a 55-year-old man from Ammon. She was taken by air ambulance to a nearby hospital while the man was assessed by EMTs for unknown injuries at the scene. Idaho State Police was assisted by the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, Air Idaho, Idaho Transportation Department, Jefferson QRU, and the Idaho Falls Fire. ISP is investigating, though the details and events leading up to the collision remain unknown. Any witnesses were asked to get in touch.
