Shelley, ID (March 31, 2024) – Bingham County Coroner Jimmy Roberts reported that an Idaho Falls woman passed away in an accident close to Shelley.

An Idaho State Police press release states that the collision occurred on Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on I-15 at milepost 110.5, which is close to Shelley. A 59-year-old man from Idaho Falls was heading north in a 2013 Honda CR-V when the wreck occurred with an unknown number of vehicles, causing his vehicle to roll over. The man was taken to a hospital and one of his passengers, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Idaho State Police are still looking into the collision and have not released any other details in the meantime.
