Pocatello, ID (May 16, 2024) – On Wednesday afternoon, two cars collided at a major intersection in Pocatello, injuring a woman. At 12:30 p.m. a Nissan passenger sedan and a Ford pickup truck collided at East Center Street and 10th Avenue.

The Nissan's driver, identified only as an adult woman of unknown age, was hurt in the collision and sent to Portneuf Medical Center by ambulance provided by the Pocatello Fire Department. Her injuries, according to the police, were not life-threatening. The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the intersection. However, no further information about the accident's cause has been made public. The Pocatello police are still looking into the collision, and officers asked any witnesses to step forward as soon as possible.
