Meridian, ID (June 19, 2024) – A rear-end collision involving at least two vehicles occurred on Wednesday, June 19, resulting in injuries to a handful of people in the Meridian area.

At around 3:30 p.m., the incident took place on Eagle Road, blocking both directions of the roadway from Overland to Pine. One of the drivers was reportedly rear-ended near the stoplight on Eagle, close to Overland, according to Idaho State Police (ISP). At least one victim was transported by ground ambulance, per the ISP. It's unclear how many people were ultimately hurt, but the ISP is still investigating the collision. Witnesses should call ISP to report any additional information.
