Kimberly, ID (November 5, 2024) – A major multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 created serious traffic disruptions, indefinitely impacting both eastbound and westbound lanes from Kimberly to Valley Road on Monday, November 5.

According to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), all lanes in this section of I-84 were blocked for possibly six hours, and drivers were urged to consider alternative routes and proceed with caution. The crash happened on Monday afternoon and involved at least one semi-truck colliding with a passenger vehicle. Investigators say one person was taken to the hospital via ambulance, where the victim has since been pronounced deceased.
