Idaho Falls, ID (August 6, 2024) – Idaho State Police troopers say that two people are dead following a crash in Idaho Falls early Sunday morning, August 4. 

In addition to the ISP, Idaho Falls Police said the crash happened on Riverside Drive near Vissing Circle. Police said two motorcycles were headed north on Riverside Drive when they were involved in a crash at Vissing Circle and crossed into oncoming lanes. One of the motorcycles then hit a car heading south. The other rider swerved around the car, lost control, and crashed into a curb.

The motorcycle riders died from their injuries at the scene, but no further details surrounding their deaths were released. The crash is still under investigation in the interim, and the names of the victims were not released. It's unclear if anybody else was hurt in the incident. Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the ISP if they had additional information.
