Elko, ID (September 5, 2024) – According to troopers with the Idaho State Police, Idaho Street was backed up on Wednesday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash in the greater Elko area.

No one was seriously hurt, although EMTs responded and transferred an unknown number of victims to the hospital. The incident apparently involved two SUVs and a pickup just outside the Riverton Elko auto dealership. Several police SUVs, firefighting crews, and an ambulance were all dispatched to the crash scene. One driver was also cited in connection with the collision. However, no further information about the accident's cause has been made public. Along with the ISP, officers with the Elko Police Department are still looking into the collision, and officers asked any witnesses to step forward as soon as possible.
