Clarkia, ID (June 23, 2024) – Idaho State Police are investigating an injury crash that took place Friday afternoon along State Route 3/Highway 95, near milepost 53 in Shoshone County. 

A 19-year-old male from Saint Maries, Idaho, driving a pickup truck, was involved in a rollover collision with a 32-year-old male from Pullman, Washington, driving an SUV. One of the drivers sustained critical injuries, and an air ambulance transported the injured motorist to a local hospital. Officials blocked traffic on U.S. Highway 95 in both directions for approximately one and a half hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved. After the roadblock, officials diverted traffic along an alternate route. However, the incident still remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
