Canyon County, ID (September 15, 2024) – Two women are in the hospital after a four-vehicle crash near Lake Lowell. According to the Idaho State Police (ISP), the crash happened at the intersection of Lake Shore Drive and Pump Road in Canyon County on Saturday morning, September 14.
Around 11:20 a.m., ISP troopers discovered that two of the motorcyclists, a woman from North Platte, Nebraska, and one from Boise, were injured. A 2015 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Lake Shore when it collided with a White 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling in the eastbound lanes. The impact of the crash caused the Honda Accord driver to swerve into the westbound lanes and strike a maroon 2010 Victory motorcycle head-on. A black 2023 Can-AM Ryker, driven by a 49-year-old from Nampa, then struck the Honda Accord. All vehicles came to rest at the intersection of Lake Shore and Pump, ISP stated.
The woman from Boise was riding a white 2003 Harley Davidson, and the woman from Nebraska was riding a maroon 2010 Victory motorcycle. However, no further details have since been released. ISP troopers said that their investigation was still ongoing and asked witnesses to step forward in the meantime.
Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.
