Boise, ID (April 26, 2024) – On Friday, a crash victim was identified by the Ada County Coroner's Office, and authorities discovered a suspect vehicle that was involved in a collision that also claimed the life of an adolescent.

Marcie Rivas, 43, of Melba, was airlifted to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise after suffering injuries in a two-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Melmont Road in Melba, according to the coroner's office. Despite unsuccessful life-saving efforts, Rivas was pronounced deceased in the intensive care unit. The investigation is pending additional details, and the identity of the minor victim was not released. The Idaho State Police are continuing their inquiry into this collision.
