Boise, ID (April 11, 2024) – According to police, a rush-hour crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 just north of the Boise Airport blocked traffic and resulted in injuries around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The accident at milepost 53, near South Vista Avenue, reduced traffic to three lanes as EMS and officers responded.

It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved in the wreck, and the total number of injured victims was also unknown. No other updates concerning the wreck were released, but an investigation is ongoing.
