Pocatello, ID (July 21, 2024) – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash occurred at a north Pocatello intersection early on Sunday morning, July 21, per local authorities on the scene.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at Yellowstone Avenue and Flandro Drive, and officers confirmed that an adult male motorcyclist died at the scene. His name hasn’t yet been released, but authorities said he is from Pocatello. The crash, which involved an unknown number of vehicles, shut down Flandro Drive for several hours on Sunday morning. EMTs also responded, though it’s unclear how many people were ultimately injured in the incident, and their current conditions are unknown. Officers with the Pocatello PD are still investigating and have not released details about the wreck in the meantime.
