Boise, ID (July 11, 2024) – Officers with the Boise Police Department and the Idaho State Police say that a teen is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a concrete truck Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 20 east of Caldwell.
The incident reportedly occurred at the intersection of the highway and Midland Boulevard at roughly 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 10. The teen driver’s Subaru was hit by a 2019 Oshkosh concrete truck driven by a 59-year-old man from Caldwell. Police said the teen died at the scene, while the concrete truck driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. However, the Idaho State Police are still investigating the incident, and witnesses were asked to come forward.
