Ketchum, ID (July 22, 2024) – Two men were injured on Saturday, July 20, in an accident at the Sun Valley Tour de Force, a road rally event that took place along an approximately three-mile stretch of State Highway 75 north of Ketchum.
According to an on-site witness report from a staff member of the Idaho Mountain Express, the accident took place around 8:00 a.m., and emergency scanner traffic stated that a car ran off the roadway and landed in the Big Wood River west of the highway.
EMTs transported at least two people to a local hospital. However, it was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved in the crash, and the total number of injured victims was also unknown. No other updates concerning the wreck were released, but an investigation is ongoing.
Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.
