White Bird, ID (November 30, 2024) – Idaho State Police are investigating after a man was killed and three others, including a juvenile, were critically injured following a car crash on Highway 95 in White Bird.

According to the Idaho State Police (ISP), the crash occurred on November 29 around 9:00 p.m. A 50-year-old man was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 95 near milepost 222 when his vehicle crossed into the southbound lane. A 66-year-old woman from Riggins, driving a Mercedes Benz southbound on U.S. 95 with two passengers, a 63-year-old man and a juvenile girl, was struck by the 50-year-old's car.

The occupants of the Mercedes were transported with critical injuries by ground and air ambulances to a local hospital, while one of the drivers sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. However, Idaho State Police are still investigating the collision and have not released any more information.
