Meridian, ID (November 18, 2024) – The Ada County Coroner has identified a 28-year-old Meridian man who died in a car crash over the weekend.

Officers reported at the time of the crash that the Meridian PD had closed the intersection at Meridian Road and Calderwood Street after a rollover crash. The driver has now been identified as 28-year-old Braxton Steinburg. The Coroner reported that Steinburg died of blunt force injuries as a result of the impact.

Still, it's unclear how many people were ultimately hurt; the ISP is still investigating the collision and has not released additional details related to the accident. Witnesses should call ISP to report any additional information.
