Malad, ID (October 15, 2024) – Local authorities say that a vehicle crash near the Idaho-Utah border left one person dead and another person injured late on Tuesday afternoon, October 15.
Idaho State Police said the 4:30 p.m. crash occurred on Interstate 15 south of Malad and happened on the southbound side of the freeway. One of the victims died at the scene, and another individual was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital. However, troopers with the Idaho State Police are still looking into the collision and have not released any other details in the meantime. Witnesses were asked to step forward as the inquiry into the cause of the incident continues.
