Hayden, ID (November 4, 2024) – Idaho State Police troopers say that a car crash on U.S. Highway 95 near Hayden was causing traffic delays during rush hour on Monday evening, November 4.

The Idaho Transportation Department reports the crash occurred near Prairie Avenue, blocking both northbound and southbound lanes around 6:15 p.m. According to local authorities, at least two vehicles collided, resulting in the dispatch of EMTs with fire rescue units. However, it's unclear how many victims were hurt or taken to the hospital in total. The Idaho Transportation Department and Hayden-area authorities provided support to the Idaho State Police, and officers are still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
