The bicyclist was traveling eastbound on US20-26 when a gray passenger car, turning westbound onto US20-26 from the I-84 off-ramp, struck him. Subsequently, a 2013 Ram 2500, also turning westbound, collided with the bicyclist. The driver of the gray passenger car fled the scene immediately after the incident. ​

• Bicyclist: The 55-year-old male from Caldwell sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.​
