Burley, ID (October 28, 2024) – Emergency responders in Minidoka County responded to a crash outside of Burley on Friday morning, October 25. The two-vehicle crash occurred just after 9:00 a.m. along West 300 South, according to the Minidoka County Fire Protection District. One of the motorists, the driver of a van, had to be removed with the help of emergency responders and was transported by life flight to Pocatello.

East End Fire, Heyburn Fire, and the Minidoka County Sheriff's Office also responded to the site, though it's unclear how many other people were taken to a local hospital. The names of the individuals involved in the accident are not being released at this time, pending family members' notification. An investigation is ongoing in the meantime; however, witnesses were asked to come forward as soon as possible.
