Burley, ID (November 23, 2024) – Emergency responders and the Idaho State Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that took place at the intersection of I-84 and Yale Road, East of Burley, on Friday evening.

At approximately 11:05 p.m. on November 22, a truck accident involving a Penske truck and a Hyundai Freightliner took place, causing a chain-reaction collision that later involved a Wabash semi on the westbound side of the roadway. At least two of the drivers were transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. I-84 at milepost 228 was blocked for several hours. An investigation is ongoing in the meantime; however, witnesses were asked to come forward as soon as possible.
