Accident Details

A blue Honda Odyssey, driven by a 33-year-old man from Spokane, Washington, was traveling southbound on US-95. The Odyssey rear-ended a blue Chevrolet GMT-400 pickup, driven by a 50-year-old man from Naples, Idaho, who had a juvenile passenger. The impact pushed the pickup into the northbound lane, where it collided with a Honda Ridgeline driven by a 79-year-old man from Coeur d'Alene, accompanied by a 72-year-old female passenger. ​Idaho State Police

Both the Chevrolet pickup and the Honda Ridgeline caught fire following the collision. The driver of the Chevrolet pickup was pronounced dead at the scene.
