Idaho State Police (ISP) troopers said that the crash happened around 10:55 a.m. on Cleveland Boulevard and Canal Street when a 42-year-old woman driving westbound in a 2011 Ford Focus was involved in a collision with a 2023 Freightliner semi-truck carrying a semi-trailer, driven by a 62-year-old man from Nampa. We extend our sincere condolences to the deceased woman's family members. Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.
Truck Accidents in Idaho

In the United States, there are around 40 million trucks in use. Unfortunately, around 159,000 individuals were hurt in truck-related incidents in one recent year alone, with 5,000 of them losing their lives. A typical semi-truck weighs more than 10,000 pounds. In turn, large trucks have larger blind areas and need more time to stop than vehicles. Add in human error from drivers, who often put in lengthy hours behind the wheel, and the possibility of disastrous crashes increases greatly.
You'll undoubtedly have many questions about the accident, injuries received, medical bills, and other expenditures if you or someone you know is in a trucking accident. These are some frequently asked questions about trucking accidents. After all, tractor-trailer and big truck accidents are typically much more serious than an average vehicle crash, so it's important to have an advocate in the aftermath.
