Boise, ID (November 10, 2024) – Officers with the Boise Police Department are investigating a pedestrian accident and have since released further details concerning the incident.

The victim was initially found deceased in the roadway near Overland Road and South Atlantic Street on Friday evening, per BPD officers. Just before 9:40 pm, officers responded to a report from a driver who believed they had run over what appeared to be an already deceased person. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim with severe, fatal injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials, but detectives are urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to contact Ada County Dispatch. No additional information has been released as the inquiry proceeds.
