Posted by Attorneys of Idaho | Nov 19, 2024 | 0 Comments

Boise, ID (November 19, 2024) – According to officers with the Boise Police Department and the Meridian Police, officers and other agencies were responding to a traffic incident off of East Amity Road in Meridian, near Albertsons, on Tuesday, November 19.

Meridian Police, Meridian Fire, Ada County Paramedics, and Idaho Power all responded to the site. Westbound traffic on Amity was closed around Eagle Road, and eastbound traffic at Montague was closed, added the City of Meridian. That said, while no other updates concerning the wreck were released, an investigation is still ongoing. The ISP asked any witnesses to contact them as soon as possible.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.

Injury Car Accidents in Idaho

Individuals who have sustained injuries are entitled to file a claim against the party responsible for the harm in Idaho, an at-fault state. Liability must be established as a result of carelessness or negligence in order to obtain compensation. However, establishing liability (or legal culpability for an accident) can be challenging without the guidance of an attorney.

Most motor vehicle collisions are caused by human error or negligence, including speeding, driver distraction, or operating a vehicle while intoxicated. You may require the assistance of an attorney to substantiate your claim that the other driver was negligent. It is critical that you establish that the other party's negligence directly caused your injuries. Thankfully, a lawyer can guide you on the processes and procedures associated with negotiating with these companies or submitting a claim for damages.

Our team at Attorneys of Idaho knows how to handle the aftermath of a crash. We are aware that receiving compensation will not erase the reality of the car accident that occurred or heal your injuries. Nonetheless, we can help you secure justice and ensure that you are fairly compensated by the insurance company representing the liable party in your vehicle collision. Moreover, your Boise auto accident lawyers will also ensure you can negotiate and legally seek compensation for the harm inflicted upon you should you need to do so.

Comparative fault laws in Boise permit you to receive compensation even if you contributed in some way to the accident. The data is decomposed into percentages. A portion of the liability for the automobile collision must be shifted to you if your culpability falls below 50%. Although it may be diminished if it exceeds 0%, you will still obtain something. If an assessment determines that you are fifty percent or more at fault, you will be ineligible for compensation.
